Why Does Uploading My Video to a Work Link Keep Timing Out

I actually become something similiar to this when uploading from the iphone app too (and not big videos).

I get a connection timeout right equally it finishes. Usually the upload has succeeded anyway, simply sometimes it happens and information technology does not end.

I have just tried to upload another three 700mb files - all the aforementioned. Smaller sizes come up through though.

Update - 600 mb - the same story. Though 60 and over 100 mb is ok.

I've had the same thing with big pictures. The upload varies from 80 kbps to 0 kbps, and sometimes times out on the bigger images (over 160 MB). I retrieve the servers are overloaded.

I am experiencing the same problem, any video that I go along under the erstwhile limitations go through ( in my case 500MB and under 90sec ). As soon as I go over those old limitations it times out.

I take the same problem, even with short videos. Less than a infinitesimal. The upload times out. I have tried both the new and old upload options.

Same exact problem here. Upload goes all the way to the stop of my 500 mb file and then...bam..."file timed out". Really frustrating. I've tried the aforementioned upload from multiple computers, different browsers, different cyberspace connections...tried the web uploader, the desktop uploader. Nothing works at all for large files.

Just when I attempt to play a video uploaded before the modify, I can only play the 90 seconds, though I know the original was longer. I thought the iii minute meant that that video, if information technology was nether 3 min, would at present play upwards to three minutes. That does not seem to be the example. Only the newly uploaded play three minutes.

Say I upload a 6 min video and information technology will only play three mins then I want to download the original video (equally a pro member) that is half-dozen mins long can i?

From what I know at this point it seems not to be the example.

I likewise take no thought so I'll upload a 4 min video just to check this...

My friend uploaded a video of my son hunting and sent me the link in email. When I picket it on my iphone on flickr I tin can watch all 4 minutes and 36 seconds but when i try and do the exact same thing on my computer i only see 3 minutes of information technology!!! How does this make sense when on my Iphone I am still watching it on Flickr and I see it all....

Normally, Flickr only allows 3 minutes of video to play, no matter how long the file may be. Before May 20, it was only 90 seconds. Yous may be able to upload a video longer than three minutes, but only the starting time 180 seconds should play on the regular site.

Nevertheless, your iPhone is somehow avoiding that limitation. Perhaps the mobile version of Flickr has a glitch that staff haven't addressed however.

My problem, referred to to a higher place, is non with Flickr. I was able to upload from an old (6 yrs) computer, with no obvious problems. God willing, I'll fix any is incorrect with the new 1, and exist able to upload from that one, too. Sorry for the complaint.

Uploading 129mb video on the website. I noticed when the red flikr time indicator circle in the corner of the video to exist uploaded thumb closed I got a timeout error. I tried over again and later on selecting the video I waited for the circumvolve to close before clicking upload. When the circle closed a fix to publish message was displayed. Upload worked later on that. There was nothing to betoken I was supposed to look before clicking upload.

Just tried to once more upload a video only shy of 1GB, and this time it did upload simply so tells me it couldn't convert the video!! Very disappointing! They shouldn't be advertising that you can upload such long videos if information technology'due south not working!! Hope that the Thursday downtime might fix this issue.

Same here. I tried to upload a .MOV video of nigh half a Gigabyte, but information technology kept timing out, in both new and former uploader, a couple of times each.

When I converted the video to an 80MB .wmv, information technology timed out in the new uploader only uploaded properly in the old one.

So I was hoping that the downtime flickr had the other day would fix the video result but no luck. Already before the scheduled maintenance I was able to upload videos of up to 1GB / 3min only and so I would merely become the yellow screen that they couldn't process the video every single fourth dimension. Checked after Flickr was upward once more, notwithstanding the same outcome. Volition upload the video but just get the yellow screen. :(
